Pray for Team Warsaw, April 11, 2008

PRAISES!

  • We are thankful that John Mark safely arrived in Warsaw last Friday, along with his luggage. He is settling in and remembering his way around. Next week he will begin Polish language lessons. Please continue to pray for him as he adjusts to life as a journeyman. Pray that the Lord will use John Mark in a mighty way during the next 2 years.
  • Steven arrived safely in America after a rain delayed stop over in Milwaukee instead of Chicago on his way to Atlanta. He has several mobilization meetings and will be spending some vacation time with our college boys. Pray for the Lord will bless their time together as well as the opportunities that Steven has for sharing about the Lord’s work in Warsaw. Pray for his safe return on the 22nd.
  • Our pastor, Michal will be joining Steven in Atlanta on the 14th, so pray for his safe travel. We are grateful that the Lord worked out the many details related to Michal getting his visa for travel to the States. The Lord truly worked some miracles. Pray that Michal will have a productive time in the States as he shares about the Way of Life Baptist Church in Otwock and their vision for joining Team Warsaw in church planting.
  • We are so grateful for the completion of the first printing of David Garrison’s Church Planting Movements into Polish. We already have several orders for books. Hopefully, we will sell out the first printing which will enable us to make a second printing and fund some national church planting efforts.
  • Susan had a wonderful time of fellowship with JAB at her home last weekend. And it was a great opportunity to give this young couple a Bible each and to be challenged to read it. Pray that they will read God’s Word and that they will receive confirmation of the good news that they’ve already heard. Pray that their hearts will be open as they read. Pray for future opportunities of discussion. We are really praying that the seeds that have been sown in their lives will bear a fruitful harvest.
  • Joe has had some challenging conversations with his university students. Pray that more opportunities will enable Joe to continue to speak truth and light into the lives of these students. Pray that these students will be open to truth instead of the messages of the world.

Studying!
Please continue to pray for the various small groups that are meeting and studying God’s Word each week around Warsaw. Pray for our small group leaders to be bold and the Word will be that Sword of the Spirit which will divide. We want those that are seeking to see the truth and cut away those things in their lives which keep them from Jesus Christ. We are asking for a plentiful harvest.

Planning!
Pray for our volunteers, the value of the dollar, and all the final arrangements that need to be completed for the upcoming busy summer volunteer ministry time. We are desiring to see much seed sowing and a harvest in the fall.

Blessings,

Deborah
